CARLSBAD, CA, UNITED STATES, October 24, 2024 / — Neology, a global transportation technology company that is partnering with customers to [re]imagine mobility today announced the award of Windsor Detroit Borderlink Limited’s (WDBL) Transponder opportunity.

Through this award, WDBL will provide 6C RFID transponders for its current and future account holders that travel through the Windsor Detroit Tunnel between Windsor, Ontario, CA and Detroit, Michigan, US. The use of 6C transponders provides an affordable option for both the agency and their customers. Since these transponders are passive and don’t contain batteries, they help WDBL meet the sustainability objectives for themselves and their communities. Also, the smaller form factors for 6C tags means less windshield obstruction and safer driving visibility compared to other tag technology with larger form factors.

“We are proud to be Windsor Detroit Borderlink chosen transponder partner and look forward to serving their tolling needs with innovation and increased revenue generation,” said Steve Haddix, Neology Senior Vice President and North America General Manager. “Our OmniAir certified tags have been rigorously tested at our OmniAir certified test track facility which will deliver greater handshakes and higher and more consistent performance for WDBL,”

“We are honored to have been selected by WDBL,” says Bradley H. Feldmann, Neology Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “With over 130 million Neology 6C tags distributed globally, we look forward to bringing our years of experience, innovation, a commitment to customer service to this valued partnership.”

“Windsor Detroit Borderlink Ltd. at Detroit-Windsor Tunnel is excited to partner with Neology for its RFID tag distribution. Neology has brought WDBL top-notch technology and customer service with affordable pricing.”
